5-Down is a toddler group which meets in the Beansheaf Centre on Charrington Road. It is run by members of the church and at the moment is open to anyone in the area with children of appropriate age (who don't already go to the other church run group), as the room is big it does not presently have a waiting list.

The group starts at 1pm and there are always 2 or 3 tables set up with different activities laid out, as well as loads of room for activities of a more energetic nature. The centre of the hall is always laid out with a ring of chairs and baby toys and equipment in the middle preventing the more robust childrens activities from disturbing or upsetting those who can't move or want to play quietly.

The children are encouraged to sit at the tables for a drink and biscuit during the session and at the end of the session there is a quieter time for a group story and sing-song. The session ends at 2.45pm.
